For local businesses · Salons, shops, clinics, pros
LocalList scans how your business shows up on Google, Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing, Facebook and the directories that feed them — then gives you one true listing and a guided sync to fix every copy of it, plus the ranking playbook that is working right now.
Takes about a minute. Your answers build your find-and-fix kit right here on this page. Nothing is uploaded.
How it works
The same loop the big listing platforms charge for — except we show you every step, and we never pretend a platform changed something it didn’t.
Enter your business once. We build one-click find links for 11 platforms so you can see exactly where you appear — and where you don’t.
You lock in a single correct name, address, phone, hours and website. Every fix everywhere copies from this one card — that’s what “sync” really means.
Each platform verifies owners its own way. We give you the exact path, in the right order, with copy-ready text for every field and honest notes about waits and fees.
Work the living SEO playbook — reviews, posts, photos, signature services — and re-run your scan whenever anything changes.
Your scan
This scan does not crawl the web behind your back and does not guess. Use each platform’s Find my listing link, check what’s actually there, and mark what you find. Your score is computed only from what you confirm.
Confirm or edit this once. Every copy block and fix below uses exactly this text — same spelling, same phone format, everywhere.
Saved only in this browser, so you can come back to it.
Mark each platform below as you check it. Unchecked platforms count as 0 — your real score can only go up as you verify them.
Ranked by how much each one moves your score — and your map ranking.
For each one: open Find my listing, look at what a customer would see, then mark it honestly.
Paste these exactly as written into each platform. Identical wording everywhere is the whole point.
Work top to bottom — Google first, it feeds almost everything else. The yellow notes are real: they come from doing this by hand for a real salon, waits and all.
The living playbook · Updated November 2026
No theory. This is the checklist we run for a real salon that fights for the map pack in five cities — rewritten so it works for any local business. We update it as platforms change what they reward.
Google routinely rejects Offer posts from small businesses, but What’s New updates sail through. One short post a week — a service, a photo, a seasonal note — keeps your profile visibly alive.
Ask every happy customer once, at the counter, with a QR code or short link. Reply to every review within two days — replies are a ranking signal and the next customer reads them. Never buy reviews; platforms detect it and Google removes them.
The same business name spelling, address and phone number on every listing, your website footer and your socials. Moved or rebranded? Hunt down the old listing and get it marked closed — stale duplicates split your rankings in half.
Generic menus are invisible. A named specialty — the service you’d want repeated by word of mouth and by AI assistants — gives customers and algorithms something to remember you by.
A page for each main service in each town you serve, with real prices, a booking link, and an FAQ section marked up with FAQ schema. It’s how a small site out-ranks bigger chains for “near me” searches.
Every short video opens with movement in the first frame, an on-screen line that says who it’s for, and sound that starts mid-thought. Quiet, slow openings get skipped — and skipped videos don’t get recommended.
Real photos of your real work and your real space, added to Google and Facebook every month. Listings with recent photos get more calls — and stock photos fool nobody.
Once a month, ask the big AI assistants for the best business in your category and town. If you’re missing or described wrong, the fix is almost always upstream: your name, category and signature service on the listings AI reads.
Wrong hours are the fastest way to lose a customer forever. Set holiday hours on Google, Apple and Bing before every holiday — it takes five minutes and platforms nag you about it because it works.
Links from your chamber of commerce, local news, suppliers and partners help. Bought link packages violate Google’s spam policies and can get a site demoted or removed. Any “SEO” selling you hundreds of links is selling you a risk.
Optional · Off by default
The scan, the score and the sync kit work fully with AI off. Turn AI Assist on and LocalList drafts your listing description, three social posts and two review replies — written only from the facts you confirmed in your true listing above. It is a template engine, not a mind reader: it invents nothing, promises nothing, and every draft is yours to edit before it goes anywhere.
Straight talk
Every platform on this page verifies business owners itself, in its own way, on its own timeline. No tool — ours included — can lawfully push changes into your Google or Apple listing without that verification. Anyone who promises one-click magic syncing is either reselling your data to the platforms or hoping you won’t check. LocalList does the part that can honestly be done for you: one true listing, copy-ready text for every field, the exact claim path per platform, in the right order, with the real waits and fees flagged before you hit them.
We will never write, buy or broker reviews. They get removed, they can get a listing suspended, and customers can smell them.
Paid link schemes are link spam under Google’s policies. We help you earn the listings and mentions that actually count.
Your score comes from what you confirm, your drafts from what you entered. If we don’t know, the page says so.
Founding businesses
LocalList is new. Before any public launch, we’re working one-on-one with a small group of founding businesses to run the scan, the sync and the playbook with a human double-checking every platform. No public price list yet — founding businesses talk to us first, and pricing gets set with them, not for them.
